20th Workshop on Innovative Use of NLP for Building Educational Applications: Participation
Registration
The BEA workshop is held in conjunction with ACL 2025 and registration is handled by them. Fees vary based on professional affiliation (academic/industry), student status, scope of attendance (workshop only vs. full conference), and mode of participation (in-person/virtual). For more detailed information and to proceed to registration, please consult the ACL 2025 registration page.
Note: Early registration closes on July 2, 2025.
For Authors and Presenters
In accordance with ACL policy, at least one author of each accepted paper must register by the early registration deadline.
- If you are presenting the paper, you are required to select the “Registering Paper” category.
- Co-authors who are attending but not presenting do not need to select this category; one registration per paper is sufficient.
- Presenters of shared task papers are exempt from selecting the “Registering Paper” category.
Volunteering
The BEA workshop does not offer any volunteer opportunities. However, the ACL conference provides student volunteering opportunities for eligible applicants. Successful candidates receive a registration fee waiver. Details and application instructions are available here. The application deadline is June 6th, 2025.
Visa
Once you are registered via https://2025.aclweb.org/registration/, ACL will issue an invitation letter for you that you can use for your visa application.
